Rescued my little Acer C7 Chromebook

After installing chrubuntu on my c7, I decided to put it back to factory and give crouton a try so that I could run both chrome and crouton at the same time.  I created the restore usb stick in Linux then threw it in the c7 at the ‘missing or damaged’ note.  My c7 gave me “An unexpected error has occurred” when I tried to run it!

Easy fix.

  1. Turn off chromebook
  2. Remove battery
  3. Press power button to drain anything else out of the system
  4. Put battery back on
  5. Power on

Boom – now your c7 is back to normal!
